At U.S. Bank, I worked on Smart Assistant, helping shape conversational banking experiences that made complex financial information easier to understand and act on. My work spanned UI patterns, insight cards, conversational flows, prototyping, and accessibility, while also building out a scalable design library to keep the experience consistent. I collaborated closely across product, design, and development to turn a wide range of banking needs into clear, cohesive interactions.
During my time on the Monetization team, I worked closely with a UX designer to ideate solutions and refine user flows with designs that were intuitive, accessible, and aligned with a11y and WCAG best practices. Notable flows included the Offers landing page, comparison table, and calculator, where I focused on making complex financial information easier to understand and navigate.
While on the Smart Assistant team, I owned and evolved the native design system and component library. I worked to create a system that aligned with the broader U.S. Bank experience while establishing its own distinct visual language through custom components and interaction patterns. I designed core components for lists, rates, search, and partner cards, while also driving system-wide updates and accessibility improvements. My work supported major initiatives including Money Brief, Transfers, Rewards, Predictive Search, and Card Lock. I was also largely responsible for adapting patterns and components from other teams to the Smart Assistant design language. Because implementations across the app often varied, I evaluated and rebuilt components as needed, integrating them into a consistent visual and interaction system so flows from different parts of the app felt seamless within the Smart Assistant experience.
